BUCSHOT's reliable, convenient transportation is FREE to ETSU Students, Faculty, and Staff!

Bucshot is provided during ETSU Fall and Spring semesters.

• The BUCSHOT Gold and Blue routes have 15-minute route times to get you where you need to go on campus quickly.  The Gold route serves the right/east side of campus,including Buc Ridge and Buc Village apartments.  The Blue route serves the left/west side of campus, including Campus Ridge apartments. The Gold and Blue routes are served by two buses, which run from 7:15 a.m. thru 4:45 p.m., Mon - Fri.   Click on Service Area/Route Maps/Schedules link above.
• Effective October 1, the two BUCSHOT parking lot shuttles have been combined into one route (Red route).  The Red route makes a 15-minute loop through the two major outlying ETSU parking lots (Walnut Street parking lot and Jack Vest Drive parking lot, including new extension) and the center of campus.  The Red route operates from 7:45 a.m. until 2:15 p.m., Mon-Fri.  Click on Service Area/Route Maps/Schedules link above. 
• The BUCSHOT evening route service hours operate on a fixed schedule from 5:00 until 10:45 Mon-Fri, with Safe-Voyage trips available from 8:00 until midnight by calling 914-5940.  All evening BUCSHOT service is provided by one bus.  Click on Service Area/Route Maps/Schedules link above.      (Note: During all other times, on campus security escorts are available by contacting the ETSU Department of Public Safety at 439-4480.)

Using BUCSHOT is like having a car on campus, to get around to class, work, the library, or to visit friends, but without having to pay for gas or worry about parking. Best of all, it's FREE to students or faculty/staff with valid ETSU ID. Others (campus visitors, general public) may also ride, paying a 75-cent fare.

BICYCLISTS:  You may load your bicycle onto any Bucshot vehicle and/or onto any JCT fixed-route vehicle.  This connects bicyclists to the ETSU campus and the areas of Johnson City covered by the JCT fixed route.
